Youth Voices and Insights for Addressing Climate Change

Events around the world continue to demonstrate the impact of climate change.  From extreme heat to extreme rainfall, alongside the ongoing degradation of water supplies, desertification and the loss of biodiversity, it is clear that concerted action and adaptation are necessary to mitigate the impact of climate change.  The Paris Agreement recognises the need for urgent and effective action to address the threat posed by climate change that also ensures intergenerational equity as a key driver of policy and action.

This Bussola webinar brought together a range of well-informed youth voices from Europe to the Gulf and beyond, to share their expertise and insights into what is needed to bring about more effective responses to climate change.  They also discussed why climate action is so important to young people right across the globe and how engaging with youth voices and insights can make for more effective climate policy development through introducing dynamic new thinking and innovative action to deliver sustainable prosperity and security for future generations.
